Gordie Howe CARES
In 2025, Rob served as Team Captain in the annual Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am Hockey Tournament. This incredible event raised over $1.5 million, with Rob's personal fundraising and corporate support from IG Wealth Management, contributing $37,500 to his team's total of $81,329 raised for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society. Our broader team, affectionately known as the Goodbuggers, has now raised nearly $300,000 over the past four years, with a bold goal of reaching $1 million for this vital cause. Gordie Howe CARES is more than a fundraiser. It’s a not-for-profit dedicated to ensuring that caregivers never face the journey of Alzheimer’s alone, providing critical support, education, and dignity to those caring for loved ones battling this disease. This mission resonates deeply with the work we do. Many clients are navigating the challenges of aging parents or loved ones. We’ve seen firsthand how this disease doesn’t just affect those diagnosed but profoundly impacts the entire family.
Calgary Food Bank
The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for people facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank, has the capacity to serve families, individuals and organizations to fight hunger.

IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's
The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s is Canada’s largest fundraiser supporting dementia care in over 150 communities across the country. Funds raised support local programs delivered by Alzheimer Societies across Canada, providing essential services for those impacted by dementia. With more than 700,000 Canadians currently living with dementia, and nearly one million projected by 2030, the need is urgent.
